Over four hours and 12+ tastings, you’ll move through several of the city’s most important food hubs, experiencing the full range of Chilean cooking in one place. From hearty lunchtime staples and seasonal stews to fresh seafood and classic street snacks.
The experience celebrated Chilean's obsession with almuerzo, Chile’s main meal of the day, when markets are at their busiest and most authentic. With a knowledgeable loc...

Santiago
Our Santiago food tour offers guests a culinary experience carefully curated food adventure, led by our team of Santiago tastemakers.
Before we get started, our tour reflects the local cuisine, and the limitations of street food vendors and local eateries mean we cannot cater for every dietary restriction. Here's an honest appraisal for the tour, so no-one is disappointed:
Unsuitable for vegetarian, vegan, lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, halal diets, and severe allergies as the number of tastings would be very limited.
No pork diets, pescatarian and mild tree nut / peanut allergies are possible though some tastings do not have alternatives available and the menu would be more limited

Santiago
Experience Santiago’s lunchtime culture on a 4-hour food tour through the city’s historic market district. Chileans take almuerzo seriously, and you’ll see why as you explore Vega Central, Mercado Tirso de Molina, and the iconic Central Market with 12+ tastings along the way.
Start with classics like empanadas and sopaipillas before moving into traditional dishes such as humitas, pastel de choclo, and porotos granados. As you go deeper into the markets, seafood takes centre stage with paila marina, fresh ceviche, and rich crab pie.
Along the way, snack on local favourites and finish with mote con huesillo, Santiago’s iconic drink. This isn’t about fine dining, it’s a true introduction to how locals eat in the Chilean capital. Join our small group tour limited to 8 guests to discover the city’s food scene with the help of an expert local tastemaker guide.
