We leave the hotel in Campeche towards the municipality of Hecelchakán. We will visit the regional market, after having breakfast with the traditional "cochinita pibil" cake, a famous dish from the Yucatan Peninsula. We move to the municipality of Calkiní where we will take a tour of the community of Becal.
After visiting the surroundings of the town, we will take local transportation to make a stop at a family and/or community craft cave, where they will be given an explanation and demonstration of jipi japa weaving by our artisans from the region.
