Materuni Waterfalls and Coffee Plantation

Materuni Waterfalls
First you will visit the waterfalls which are around a 45 minutes’ walk away. On the way, your guide will explain you about the Chagga culture, village life and surrounding Flora and Fauna. The views are truly beautiful and with some luck you will see the view of Mount Kilimanjaro in the morning or evening but normally it's covered with clouds.
After having enjoyed the scenery with picnic lunch, you will slowly return with your guide to Materuni village for the coffee experience.
You will also be invited to help with the grinding of the coffee producing. The grinding of the coffee is always accompanied by traditional songs and dances, a fun way of motivation. Last, but not least, you will have a cup of coffee you made.
After walking around the village enjoying the sunset and dinner; the overnight will be on a comfortable tent.
