Malta, Sightseeing and Culture Tour Galore
Malta
About
This tour will bring the island’s history back to life by transporting the visitor back into the period culture and architecture in question. This is made possible by my commentary which, being lively and incisive, correlates facets of present-day Maltese life with our historic heritage. Within the framework of a private tour, the practicality and agility of a smaller exclusive party will ensure the viewing of an array of sightseeing locations, which are not accessible to larger vehicles.

Itinerary
1
Senglea
Scenic all throughout and offering panoramic views of Fort St Angelo and the Grand Harbor
15 minutes
2
Birgu (Vittoriosa)
This was the maritime capital of the Knights of St.John, purposely chosen to avenge their defeat in Rhodes with an ultimate astounding victory over the Ottoman Turks. The scenic marina called Little Venice blends beautifully with a visit of the historic church of St. Lawrence.
1 hour
3
Marsaxlokk
This picturesque fishing village offers the most colourful boats imaginable.
15 minutes
4
Blue Grotto (Il-Hnejja)
We first stop at a viewing point overlooking the Blue Grotto where it can be observed and admired from land, before proceeding down to the pier for the boat trip, which is however dependent on weather conditions. The boat trip is not included in the tour price.
50 minutes
5
Dingli Cliffs
This is the highest point on the island, complemented by a rugged steep coast and a terrace-shaped landscape.
15 minutes
6
Mdina Old City
This medieval city is a gem of architecture, with quaint winding streets and extravagant edifices. The views from its surrounding fortification walls are also breathtaking.
50 minutes
7
Mosta
This Basilica of this town tops all other churches with its sheer grandeur. It pulled through during the Second World War by surviving a number of bombs which hit it but did not detonate.
