Itinerary
1
Cusco
To visit Machu Picchu we must get up early, it is a bit long, but very rewarding to see a wonderful citadel built with huge stones. The tour starts very early...
2
Ollantaytambo
04:00 am - Hotel pick-up to transfer to the train station located in Ollantaytambo, the journey takes bus or cars and takes approximately two hours.
06:10 am - Board the train to the village of Aguas Calientes.

Aguas Calientes
08:30 am - Arrival in the village of Aguas Calientes, known as Machu Picchu Pueblo. Upon arrival, a staff from our agency will be waiting for you and your companions to begin the tour to our world wonder. First, you'll have a few minutes to grab a little snack, buy something or maybe use the bathrooms.
10:00 am - We will board the bus that will take us to the Inca citadel, this trip takes approximately 25 minutes.
4
Machu Picchu
Upon arrival at the entrance control, we must join the group guided by our official guide.
11:00 am - Entrance to the Inca citadel of Machu Picchu (if you have an entrance ticket to any of the mountains, entry is earlier, you must coordinate it with the guide or your travel agent a day before). We start the tour on a path that will take us to the first terrace, where we can take the classic photo of Machu Picchu. Simply a wonderful view, now yes, to enjoy!
By averaging 2:00 pm, we will be finishing the guided tour, giving you time to explore the corners where some photos were missing... If you wish, you can review the lunch options we have for that day.

Aguas Calientes
04:30 pm - Bus back to the town of Aguas Calientes, you must leave the citadel and wait your turn to get on the bus. When you arrive in the village, you will have a few hours to explore the artisan market or take a walk through its narrow streets. If you wish to have lunch, we recommend the Alpakitay tourist restaurant, which is located in the village and has a beautiful view towards the river. One very important fact: if they say they are going on behalf of our agency My Cusco Trip, they will give them a complimentary pisco sour.

Ollantaytambo
09:00 pm - Board at Machu Picchu Pueblo train station.
09:30 pm - Departure of the train that will take us back to Ollantaytambo station.
11:00 pm - We will arrive at Ollantaytambo train station. Upon leaving the station, an agent from our agency will be waiting to board you on the bus back to Cusco. They should keep in mind that when leaving the station there are many people, do not despair and, calmly, look for the transfer or driver waiting for them. They can identify you by the sign with your name or by the flame icon with glasses.

Cusco
12:45 am - We will arrive in Cusco, the arrival point where we will disembark is in Plaza San Francisco (three blocks from the central Plaza de Armas). From there they must walk or take a taxi to reach the hotel they have booked, which will be waiting for them with the room ready for a well-deserved rest after such a fascinating adventure.
