Starting at Burgtorbrücke, 23568 Lübeck, Germany, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. The riddles lead you across Lübeck's island old town from its northern gate to its medieval waterfront.
Your first landmark is the Holstentor, the twin-towered city gate that has guarded Lübeck's western approach since 1478, its distinctive pointed rooftops leaning imperceptibly inward over the centuries and somehow remaining one of Germany's most recognisable landmarks.
