After setting off along the meandering waterway from Luang Prabang Boat Pier, we enjoy a refreshing selection of seasonal fruits accompanied by lemongrass and herbal-infused juices, served on the open-air deck – the perfect vantage point to absorb the spectacular view.
Although the majority of visitors flock to Luang Prabang – the country’s biggest tourism draw – for its architectural treasures, including a stately palace and 33 glittering temples in close proximity, the surrounding countryside should not be missed.

After the boat returns to the pier, we enjoy a traditional Lao lunch at a local restaurant, featuring khao soi , a fragrant noodle dish in a rich – the perfect meal to end a perfect trip.
