Learn about one of London's oldest wholesale markets and hear the tales of some of the characters who worked here, over the years

St John's Gate
We walk past three iconic London restaurant : Bouchon Racine, Brutto and St. John. We hear about how they changed the face of London's food scene.
We then hear about the 'Gin Craze' that engulfed 18th Century London...and learn a martini recipe en route!
We then move on to St. John's Gate, a medieval relic, where Crusading warrior monks once enterntained royal visitors at lavish feasts!

We wander down a hidden alleyway, home to one of London's most exclusive restaurants -with only seven seats!
We then head to Clerkenwell Green, where we will discover how the Victorians ate and hear how waves of Italian migration created London's 'Little Italy' and influenced the local food culture.

We uncover a true London secret and discover how and why Clerkenwell got its name, in Medieval times!

Exmouth Market
As we meander northwards, we encounter (from the outside) two very different pubs: one where we will learn about the history of beer and brewing, and the other - the Eagle - where we learn the story of London's very first gastropub.
Next we shall pass the Qulaity Chop House - a restaurant that has existed since Victorian times and is now one of London's most respected restaurants.
Finally, we end the tour at Exmouth Market - a foodie hub for all!
