The historical heritage of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue illustrates the importance of the city within the Comtat Venaissin in the 14th century. Colored with greenery and water, this island town nestled at the foot of the Vaucluse plateau is crisscrossed by several canals fed by the Sorgue. In the past, inhabitants primarily lived off fishing (up to 15,000 crayfish per day!), while the large water wheels powered numerous silk factories in the 18th century, and later paper mills in the 19th century. Some wheels still turn, but now solely for the pleasure of passersby. Today, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue enjoys international renown due to the large number of antique dealers spread throughout the city (especially open on weekends) and the numerous art and painting galleries.
Guided walking tour followed by free time.

In 2022, the estate was taken over by a couple who are dedicated to preserving the environment and advocate for respect for the land by adopting eco-friendly techniques such as horse plowing, eco-grazing in the vineyards, and installing beehives. The estate has been practicing organic agriculture since 2016 and is certified HVE (High Environmental Value). Today, the vineyard totals 40 hectares of vines ranging from 15 to 75 years old, mainly located in the municipality of Ménerbes, on the north slope of the Luberon.
