In this part of the tour we will go through downtown explaining every detail, the buildings famous for their architecture, explaining why each architectural element or curiosity is linked to the history and culture of Portugal. Basically, it is a moment to contextualize the History and understand what you are looking for as a traveler.

Miradouro de Santa Luzia
Now we arrive at the top of a part of the Wall and one of the seven hills of the city of Lisbon, allowing us to see a stunning view of the oldest neighborhood in Lisbon, Alfama! Learn the history behind the Christian Reconquest of the Moors in the Iberian Peninsula, and the relationship between the founding of Portugal by the first king. In this part of the tour we take incredible photos of the picturesque neighborhood of Alfama, its gray colors against the colorful tones and pergola roofs.

Miradouro da Senhora do Monte
This is the most special moment of the tour, where you will fall in love with these panoramic views that will break your heart. Of the seven hills on which the city is built, this is the highest point, where you can observe all the monuments, a sensational sunset and visit a secret local art gallery.

Mosteiro de Sao Vicente de Fora
Admire the first church built outside the walls of the Castle of São Jorge by the first King of Portugal, Afonso Henriques, which was rebuilt by the King of Spain and offered to the Portuguese. It has the largest organ in Portugal and serves as the Royal Pantheon of the last Portuguese monastics, the Bragança family.

Now it’s time to visit one of the six pantheons in Europe. This work took over 300 years to complete, and the first church on the site was never finished, creating an iconic Portuguese expression. Behind the pantheon you can admire a famous tile mural, mixing elements from France and Portugal.

You will learn about the dictatorship in the country that lasted 40 years and ended at this monument.

We will walk through a narrow and hidden alley until we go up in the Santa Justa elevator, free of charge, just like the citizens of Lisbon do. LX Factory
It is an old factory complex that was closed until a large company decided to buy it and revitalize it, which was reborn in 2008 as a “factory” of creativity and experiences. It kept the industrial spaces and invited companies from the arts sector, which later brought in shops, cafes and restaurants. With around 50 shops, of the most diverse brands and types, LX Factory Lisboa ends up being a meeting point for those who want to go on a shopping trip.

It's time to delight yourself with the incredible and unique flavor of the famous ''Pastéis de Belém'' following a tradition since 1873. This is the only factory where you can taste the originals, have a coffee and take a tour inside its facilities and observe Portuguese tiles, manufacturing and rare items.

Mosteiro dos Jeronimos
Invite yourself to contemplate this masterpiece of 16th century Manueline architecture, which continues to amaze today. It survived the earthquake of 1755 and houses the tombs of the monarchy and great navigators such as Vasco da Gama. The visit to the church is free, but there is a fee for the museum. At the same stop, we will go to the Navy Museum, where you can see historical relics of ships.
