Spring Mountains National Recreational Area
After picking up your Jeep near the Las Vegas airport, begin your self-guided drive away from the Strip and toward the Spring Mountains. As the city fades behind you, the route takes you through desert scenery, mountain views, and wide-open Nevada landscapes.
Before departure, you’ll receive clear directions and a gear walkthrough so you know where to go, how to use the included equipment, and how to enjoy the evening safely.
2
Lovell Canyon
Arrive in Lovell Canyon, a peaceful mountain-desert area west of Las Vegas known for wide skies, quiet surroundings, and beautiful sunset views. Set up your chairs, blankets, telescope, snacks, and lighting as the desert shifts from golden hour into night.
Enjoy a private stargazing experience away from the bright lights of the Strip. Watch the stars appear overhead, relax by your campfire-style setup, and take in one of the most peaceful sides of Southern Nevada.
