About
What makes this adventure truly special is the combination of a remote, lesser explored location and an intimate small group setting. Landmannalaugar lies deep in Iceland’s highlands, far from the crowds, where geothermal activity and volcanic forces have sculpted a surreal landscape found nowhere else on Earth. With its rainbow colored rhyolite peaks, steaming vents, obsidian lava fields, and vividly hued gorges, the scenery is as extraordinary as it is untouched. Traveling in a small group allows for a more personal, immersive experience, you’ll have time to connect with the land, ask questions, and soak in the moment without the rush of a large tour. This is Iceland at its rawest and most...

Shaped by volcanic activity and erosion over centuries, the area features deep valleys, colorful rock formations, and textures found nowhere else on Earth.
This adventure includes a 4-hour (8-10km) trek through some of Iceland’s most dramatic scenery, winding through the black lava of Laugahraun, the striking Vondugil Canyon, and up to Mt.
