Küçüksu Pavilion is a unique gem of Istanbul that highlights the city's Ottoman history. Built during Sultan Mahmud I's the reign and opened in 1751, it was constructed on the Bosphorus shores at the recommendation of a Grand Vizier. The pavilion was renovated in 1856-1857 and became a museum in 1983.
With its garden and historical ambiance, it offers a great setting for visitors to explore Istanbul's rich heritage. The two-story building, made of brick and stone, showcases the city's history.
Please note: Küçüksu Pavilion is closed on Mondays. It is open every other day from 09:00 to 17:00, and visitors can stay as long as they wish, though a visit of about 1 hour is recommended.
