This walk covers a large, still-active mountain cemetery and the customs around it: burial practices, beliefs about the soul, and folklore most Koreans grew up hearing but rarely explain to outsiders.
Your host shares the stories as you go, small group, hands-on commentary, respectful of the site the whole way. This is a seasonal offering, running September through November only.
Moderate hiking is involved, so wear real shoes and dress for the weather.
Don't rely on the address. We use subway exits for locations in Seoul.
