Kallar Kahar
Kallar Kahar is a town and subdivision of Chakwal District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the capital of Kallar Kahar Tehsil.
Emperor Babar described Kallar Kahar in his memoirs, " As a child of Kashmir due to its natural beauty and charming weather" and it's a natural sanctuary of peacocks but its reduced due to increased in population around the mountains and due to illegal catching of beautiful birds" the Takht-e-Babri, as a "charming place with good air".
Takht-e-Babri is a very ancient and important place where long ago kings and queens used to sit and make important decisions. Now, it is like a big stone chair, telling us about the old days.
Kallar kahar is easily accessible on the M-2 from Kallar Kahar interchange and also the beauty can be enjoyed from the Kallar Kahar Service Area of M-2 Moterway.
