Experience nature close up as you float through breathtaking scenery filled with abundant wildlife. Our kayaking trips meander in and out of spectacular mountain ranges breathtaking views and limestone cliffs. We are very fortunate to have an abundance of George Washington National Forest along the way. Plenty of wildlife including bald eagles, great blue herons, hawks, osprey, ducks, turtles, deer and many others. You are welcome to bring a fishing pole as the South Fork has incredible small mouth bass fishing. We will help you plan the perfect trip for you, your friends and your family. PACK A LUNCH...the River is yours for the day!

Shenandoah River Outfitters offers unguided Kayak trips down the scenic South Fork of the Shenandoah near Luray Virginia. Our Kayak rentals include paddles, life jackets, transportation to and from the river, safety video, map and basic instructions. Trip length is 8 miles and will take 3 to 4 hours and is suitable for most beginners (age 9 to 75) You can also choose our white water trip we prefer a little experience for this version.
