Itinerary

The Castle of Kavala
Your experience begins with a short guided walk through the Old Town of Kavala.
Travelers will stroll along quiet cobblestone streets, pass colorful traditional houses, and enjoy panoramic views of the sea and the harbor below. As we walk, I will share stories about the city’s past, from its Ottoman influence to the families who shaped its food culture over generations.
This first part is relaxed and easy. It allows everyone to settle in, take photos, and connect with the surroundings before we begin tasting. By the time we reach our first food stop, guests will already feel the rhythm of the old city and understand how history and daily life are connected to the flavors they are about to try.

Kavala
During the tour, we will visit five carefully selected stops in the city of Kavala. You will taste fresh local pastry straight from the oven, try the famous kourabie cookie that Kavala is known for, and enjoy a classic Greek souvlaki from a "hole-in-the-wall" style grillhouse, prepared the traditional way.
We will also visit a local cheesemaker to sample regional cheeses and learn how they are produced, followed by an olive oil and honey tasting where you will understand the difference between everyday products and small scale local production.
