معبد كوتوكو-إن هو موطن تمثال بوذا العظيم (دايبوتسو) الشهير في كاماكورا، وهو تمثال برونزي مهيب يزيد ارتفاعه عن ١١ مترًا. يعود تاريخ هذا التمثال الهادئ إلى القرن الثالث عشر، وهو يرقد بسلام في الهواء الطلق، رمزًا للقوة والسكينة. يمكن للزوار حتى الدخول إلى التمثال لإلقاء نظرة على تصميمه الداخلي. إنه وجهة لا غنى عنها لكل من يستكشف التراث الثقافي الغني لكاماكورا.

يشتهر معبد هاسيديرا، الواقع على سفح تل في كاماكورا، بإطلالاته الخلابة على الساحل وتمثال كانون، إلهة الرحمة، ذي الأحد عشر رأسًا. يتميز هذا المعبد الهادئ بحدائق خلابة، وأزهار موسمية، وكهف هادئ مليء بتماثيل بنزايتن. زيارة هاسيديرا تُقدم مزيجًا مثاليًا من الروحانية والتاريخ والجمال الطبيعي.

يُعدّ ضريح تسوروغاوكا هاتشيمانغو أهمّ ضريح شنتو في كاماكورا، وهو مرتبطٌ ارتباطًا وثيقًا بتراث الساموراي في المدينة. أسّسه ميناموتو نو يوريتومو، أول شوغون في اليابان، ويقع في قلب كاماكورا، ويُتيح إطلالاتٍ خلابة من درجه الفخم. تحيط به أزهار الكرز وبرك اللوتس، ويتميّز بأهميته التاريخية، ما يجعله وجهةً لا غنى عنها لكلّ من يستكشف جذور كاماكورا الثقافية والروحية.

The observatory lighthouse in Enoshima's Samuel Cocking Garden was reopened after renovations on April 29, 2003. With a height of 59.8m (119.6m above sea level), its innovative construction has become familiar as a new symbol of Enoshima. Mt. Fuji and the Tanzawa mountains are visible from the observation deck, with the 360 degree panorama making for a truly spectacular view.

Yokohama Chinatown is known as the world’s best Chinese food spot. With more than 600 shops in only a 250,000 square meter area there are plenty of restaurants to choose from. Workers from restaurants and food stalls, cute and colorful sundries shops, and more call out in loud voices to entice customers.
