At Sungai Lebam, the main activity is a guided mangrove river cruise aboard an explorer boat. As you drift along the calm waters, your guide will point out the fascinating features of the mangrove ecosystem—such as the unusual root systems of mangrove trees, various bird species, and other wildlife. It’s a relaxing and educational experience, ideal for nature observation and photography. The cruise offers opportunities to spot birds like Black-Shouldered Kites, Herons, and Pacific Swallows, while learning about how the mangroves support biodiversity and protect the coastline.

At the Desaru Fruit Farm Shop, we’ll make a brief stop for shopping, giving us a chance to browse and buy freshly harvested local fruits. Although we won’t stay long, it’s a great opportunity to check out seasonal tropical produce like pineapples, guavas, dragon fruits, or rambutans. It’s a quick and tasty way to end the tour before we head back to the hotel.
