Jaswant Thada
On the way down from the fort, on left is Jaswant Thada Outer View Thada, the graceful marble cenotaph of Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. His son Maharaja Sardar Singh built this monument known as the Taj Mahal of Marwar in the memory of Maharaj Jaswant Singh II of Jodhpur. The main memorial has been built like a temple with intricately carved marble stone. A visit to this structure is through the rocky hills giving it a secluded and a mystic aura.

Fort de Mehrangarh
Vue extérieure du fort de Mehrangarh. Perché sur une colline de 150 m d'altitude, il s'étend sur une étendue impressionnante, le plus imposant et le plus magnifique fort du Rajasthan. Fondé par Rao Jodha en 1459, il a été agrandi par les souverains de Jodhpur qui lui ont succédé au fil des siècles. Une route sinueuse mène au fort depuis la ville, située 5 km plus bas. Les cicatrices des boulets de canon tirés par les armées attaquantes de Jaipur sont encore visibles sur la deuxième porte. À gauche se trouve le chhatri de Kirat Singh Soda, un soldat tombé sur le champ de bataille en défendant le fort contre les armées d'Amber. Le fort compte sept portes, dont Jayapol (qui signifie « victoire »), construite par le maharaja Man Singh pour commémorer ses victoires sur les armées de Jaipur et de Bikaner.
Vue de la porte de la Victoire : Fatehpol (qui signifie « porte de la victoire »), a été construite par le maharaja Ajit Singh pour commémorer la défaite des Moghols. Les empreintes de palmiers attirent toujours l'attention et sont recouvertes de pâte vermillon et d'une fine feuille d'argent.

A prime attraction of the city, is the Clock Tower and the colourful Sardar Market near it. Narrow alleys lead to quaint bazaars selling textiles, antiques, silverware and handicrafts.

Toorji Ka Jhalra (Le puits de Toorji)
An ancient stepwell, modelled on the ‘Bawri’s’ of Gujarat, it holds water 300 feet deep, with steps descending to the well. Built in 1740 AD, by a queen of Marwar – Raani Tawarji, consort of Maharaja Abhay Singh of Jodhpur, the stepwell resembles those from the queen’s home Kingdom in Patan, Gujarat.
