Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum Visit one of Jingdezhen’s most important museums, built within the Imperial Kiln historical area. Here we focus on porcelain made for the imperial court, archaeological discoveries, kiln waste, broken shards, restored objects, and the strict standards behind royal porcelain production. Your guide will explain why “failed” porcelain pieces are so important, how imperial taste influenced Jingdezhen, and why the city became the center of high-level porcelain production in China.

Imperial Kiln Archaeological Remains and Nanlu Site Area Walk through the archaeological remains around the Imperial Kiln area. This stop helps you connect museum objects with the actual production site: kilns, foundations, porcelain fragments, and the physical traces of ceramic history. On selected evenings, especially weekends, guests may have time to explore Taoxichuan’s creative market, where young artists, designers, and makers present original ceramic works and handmade objects. Market availability depends on date, weather, and local schedule.
