Also known as the Dohány Street Synagogue, this is the biggest functioning synagogue in Europe. Expect stunning architecture as well as an introduction to the turbulent history connected to it while we take you through the whole building upon request for extra entrance fee.

Kazinczy Street Synagogue
Erected in the 1910s', this synagogue offers not only a peek into the rich culture and history of the Jewish community in Budapest but into the Art Nouveau architecture as well that was prominent during that era.
We enter upon request, ticket price is not included, must be payed by guests individually on the spot. No need to pre-pruchase.

Rumbach Street Synagogue
This recently renovated building with its astonishing architecture and fascinating historical role remains to be a crucial point of the Jewish community of Budapest. The tour does not include tickets to visit the building but upon request we show you inside as well.

Carl Lutz Memorial
A public statue and memorial site in the hear of the Jewish quarter, dedicated to the Swiss diplomat who helped tens of thousands of Jewish people to avoid the death camps during the holocaust. At this site, we will go through the story of Carl Lutz and the horrors of the era in which he proved to be an outstanding example of goodness and bravery.

Szimpla Kert
Part of the VII. district's main attraction is the ruin bars. Szimpla Kert is the no.1 and an outstanding example with its unmatchable design and atmosphere that attracts people from all around the world with its iconic fame. Possible drinking stop can be included upon request but not included in the tour price.

Kiraly Street
On Kiraly str. in the back yard of an old building, an original segment of the Budapest Great Ghetto Wall can be found where we will show you the remained fragment and introduce you to the history of the second largest WWII. ghetto of the World. A small exhibiton is located by the site and the entrance fee to the whole site is not icluded in the tour price, yet almost costs nothing and really is an important part of this tour.

Shoes on the Danube Bank
This moving memorial on the edge of the riverbank next to Parliament gives remembrance of people who were shot into the Danube during the time of the Arrow Cross terror close to the end of WWII. The tour only reaches this point if we still have the time and energy to finish the tour here.

Spinoza Szinhaz
It is a must to try the most famous delicacy of the Hungarian Jewish families that can not be missing from the table of any occasions. This layered pastry contains plum jam, apple, walnuts and poppy seeds. Allergies must be indicated in case travellers are sensitive on any of these or gluten. The stop is optional and is not included in the price.
