Yongduam, located on the northeastern coast of the airport, is a symbol of Jeju tourism. According to legend, a dragon that lived in the nearby valley of Yongyeon tried to ascend to heaven but turned into stone. The height of the exposed part is 10m, and the length of its body submerged in the sea is about 30m, so if you gaze at the strange rock, you might imagine that it really is a dragon wriggling. To properly appreciate this Yongduam, it is best to go about 100m to the west, and it is better on days when the waves are strong than on days when the sea is calm.
