Karakoy is a bustling neighborhood that was once the industrial heart of the city. As you wander through the narrow streets, you can still see remnants of its industrial past in the form of old warehouses and factories. But today, Karakoy is also home to trendy cafes, boutiques, and restaurants, making it the perfect place to begin our food tour.

The journey from the European side of Istanbul to Kadikoy takes around 20 minutes by ferry, but it feels like stepping into a different world. As you leave behind the iconic sights of the historic peninsula, such as the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sophia, and sail across the shimmering waters of the Bosphorus, you are greeted by the sight of minarets and modern skyscrapers rising up from the hills of Kadikoy. Ferry ride is included with the tour price.

After we finish our food tour with a local desert, our guide will take you back to the ferry that takes you back to the starting point of the tour. The tour was truly a culinary delight, allowing us to sample some of the most delicious and authentic dishes that the region has to offer.
