The Irish National Stud & Gardens is one of the only thoroughbred breeding farms open to the public.
Located only 40 minutes from Dublin, it is one of Ireland’s true treasures.
It is a unique attraction of outstanding natural beauty and home to some of the most magnificent horses and sumptuous gardens found anywhere in the world. Beginning in the early 1900s, the stud has produced some of the finest racehorses in Europe.
Join a guided tour around the Stud where you will see stallions, mares & foals and our wonderful retired racing stars Hurricane Fly, Beef or Salmon and Faugheen on our ‘Living Legend's’ team.
Our Interactive activity ‘The Irish Racehorse Experience’ brings to life the worlds of these magnificent animals.
You can also visit two remarkable gardens: the Japanese Gardens & St Fiachra’s Garden.
From horses to horticulture, the Stud is beautifully set on 850 acres of green rolling hills and provides a unique experience for everyone to enjoy.
