Once you reach the summit and park in the visitor area, we will begin a walk around the large crater of Irazú Volcano. During the tour you will receive relevant information about the volcano’s geology and eruptive history, as well as its significance for Costa Rica. Irazú, with an elevation of approximately 3,432 meters (11,260 ft), is the country’s highest volcano and one of its most emblematic landmarks.
