Inuyama Castle
This castle is one of the famous castles in Japan, located in the city of Inuyama. The castle was constructed in 1537 by the military commander Oda Nobuyoshi. Situated atop a steep cliff, the castle's fortifications are considered a masterpiece of castle architecture from that era. The distinctive features include a triple-tiered bailey and impressive stone walls. The castle's keep (tenshu) has been designated as a National Treasure.
