Itinerary
1
Pyramids of Giza
A qualified, private Egyptologis will provide rich context and tell many stories starting from the moment he meets you in your hotel to head for Giza in a private, modern a/c van (WiFi on board) and visit the following sights: The Great Pyramid (the only remaining wonder of the seven wonders of the ancient world as the other six have vanished, 2500 B.C.), as well as the pyramid of Chephren (son of Cheops) and the pyramid of Mycerinus (son of Chephren).
Enjoy the view from the panorama area, then proceed to the Valley Temple (of king Chephren) and the Great Sphinx (of king Chephren). Enjoy a camel ride for 30 minutes in the Sahara desert, then your tour guide will transfer you back to your hotel.

Great Pyramid of Cheops (Khufu)
The Great Pyramid of Khufu is the largest and most iconic pyramid in Egypt—and the only surviving wonder of the ancient world.
Inside the Pyramid
Visitors can explore narrow passageways leading to:
The King’s Chamber
The Queen’s Chamber

Menkaure Pyramid
The Pyramid of Menkaure is the southernmost and smallest of the three main pyramids in the Giza Pyramid Complex. Built around 2530–2500 BCE for Pharaoh Menkaure of Egypt’s Fourth Dynasty, it completes the royal necropolis established by his grandfather Great Pyramid of Khufu and father Pyramid of Khafre. Despite its size, its artistry and material choices mark a pinnacle of Old Kingdom craftsmanship and spiritual symbolism.

• Vivid original colors that have survived remarkably, making this tomb stand out among Giza’s mastabas.
• Hieroglyphic inscriptions detailing titles, family lineage, and religious beliefs of the Old Kingdom.
• The burial chamber where the princess was originally laid to rest, carved directly into the bedrock.

Great Sphinx
Great Sphinx of Giza, colossal limestone statue of a recumbent sphinx located in Giza, Egypt, that likely dates from the reign of King Khafre (c. 2575–c. 2465 BCE) and depicts his face. It is one of Egypt’s most famous landmarks and is arguably the best-known example of sphinx art.
