Q’eswachaka Rope Bridge
Discover the cultural and natural richness of the Andes on an exciting excursion to the Inca Bridge of Qeswachaka, one of the ancestral traditions that are still alive today in southern Cusco. The tour begins with pickup from your hotel and winds through beautiful Andean landscapes until reaching the famous lakes of Pomacanchi, Acopia, Asnaqocha, and Pampamarca, where you can enjoy breathtaking views surrounded by mountains and traditional communities.
The adventure continues with a visit to the small Pabellones volcano and, later, to the iconic Inca Qeswachaka Bridge, built with plant fibers. During the visit, you’ll learn about its historical and cultural significance, as well as enjoy the scenery along the Apurímac River.
After a traditional Andean lunch, we’ll visit Checacupe to admire its historic bridges from the Inca, colonial, and republican eras.
Finally, we’ll return to Cusco after a day that combines nature, history, and the living culture of the Andes
