The experience starts from the parking area near Rifugio Col Gallina and climbs towards the beautiful Limides Lake, a small alpine lake. From here, the trail continues to Forcella Averau, an exceptional panoramic viewpoint offering incredible views over the surrounding valleys and the main mountain groups of the Eastern Dolomites.
The route then reaches Rifugio Averau and Rifugio Nuvolau, two of the most scenic mountain huts in the Dolomites, before descending towards the famous Cinque Torri area and Rifugio Scoiattoli.
