EcoParque Bacalar Ecoparque Bacalar is a beautiful ecological park located directly on the shore of the Bacalar Lagoon, created to allow visitors to enjoy the lagoon while protecting one of its most fragile ecosystems. The park covers a natural area of almost 9 hectares, including mangroves and native vegetation, and its main attraction is a long elevated wooden walkway that takes you through the mangroves and out over the crystal-clear waters of the Lagoon of the Seven Colors. The design was specifically created to minimize disturbance to the mangroves, trees, and aquatic ecosystem.
