The first thing you’ll notice when you set foot on Þórisjökull Glacier is its breathtaking beauty. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains, the glacier offers sweeping panoramic views that inspire a sense of awe and wonder. Right after experiencing the crisp winds of the glacier, our pilot will fly you straight to the second destination — the Hengill Volcano, located in the southwest on the site of an ancient volcanic system. Step out of the helicopter and feel the warmth radiating from this powerful geothermal landscape. The active craters and their surroundings create a dramatic scene that feels both remote and otherworldly.
