Come with us on a journey up Iceland's highest mountain Hvannadalshnúkur. She sits at 2210m above sea level on the cusp of the mighty Vatnajökull (Iceland's largest Icecap) In good weather, the views are second to none with an incredible panorama stretching for hundreds of kilometres. This is a strenuous hike from near sea level up to over 2000m. The distance traveled is around 23km. So be prepared for a challenging but ultimately rewarding day in the high mountains of Iceland.
