SORAYPAMPA
Arrive at the Soraypampa camp, which serves as the starting point of our hike. Our professional guide, who knows these routes intimately, will provide practical recommendations and share fascinating stories about the region. Learn how the Nevado Humantay (5,473 meters / 17,956 feet high) became a sacred guardian for the Incas and discover the tales whispered by the stones along the path.
Begin the 2.5 km (1.55 miles) hike to the Humantay Lagoon. Walk at your own pace, stopping to drink water, eat an energizing snack, or take photos with the stunning mountains as your backdrop. Along the way, enjoy the views of moss-covered rocks, snow that sparkles like diamonds, and the clear blue skies that resemble a watercolor painting.
