Virgin Mary's House
Située dans les monts Aladağ, à seulement huit kilomètres d'Éphèse, la Maison de la Vierge Marie est un important lieu de pèlerinage. Selon la tradition, Marie est venue à Éphèse avec saint Jean en 37 après J.-C. et y a vécu jusqu'à sa mort en 48 après J.-C. Le site a été reconnu comme lieu de pèlerinage par l'archevêque de Kuşadası en 1892, suite à la découverte de la maison. Le 26 juillet 1967, le pape Paul VI a visité ce lieu sacré et y a prié, confirmant ainsi son importance pour les visiteurs du monde entier.

Claros (Klaros) was an ancient Greek sanctuary near İzmir, dedicated to Apollo. Famous for its oracle, it was one of the most important prophecy centers of the ancient world—comparable to Delphi. Visitors came from across the Mediterranean to seek guidance from Apollo through sacred rituals performed by priests in an underground chamber. Today, Claros offers a peaceful archaeological site featuring a temple, sacred spring, and impressive columns.
