Ascent to La Malinche, the fifth highest mountain in Mexico and live the adventure. Stages of Ascent: Stage 1: Cloud Forest(3100-4100msnm) Duration: 2 hours Unevenness: 1000 meters Start in the cloud forest, surrounded by majestic pines, oak, oyamel and dense endemic flora. Stage 2: Alpine bushes (4100-4200 masl) Duration: 1 hour Unevenness: 100 meters As the forest is abandoned, the terrain is transformed into alpine bushes, with lower vegetation. The air becomes colder and the slope becomes steeper. You can see the first panoramic views of the Mexican elevations, the Iztaccíhuatl and the Popocatépetl volcano.
