Itinerary
1
Calles
After 50 minutes of driving we will get to Calles - the beginning of our trip. First, we'll have a coffee in a local bar and start the hike. The initial 3 kilometers are a very gentle ascent until we get closer to the aqueduct. Here we will start going up the single track trail, while gaining a bit more elevation. Thankfully, this ascent is quite short and soon we will be at the Peña Cortada aqueduct. The path takes us straight through it, as we make our way through the tunnels carved out in rock. Eventually we will get to the bridge - the most impressive part of the aqueduct, which we will cross to get to the other side.
