The worlds largest equine sculptures, located on the Forth & Clyde Canal. Standing at 100ft tall and weighing more than 300 tonnes each, the magical Kelpies are a man-made wonder and a feat of engineering. The works of art have become iconic on the landscape, after being modelled on real-life icons of times gone by Clydesdale horses Duke and Baron. The Kelpies represent the lineage of the heavy horse of Scottish industry and economy, pulling the wagons, ploughs, barges and coal ships that shaped the geographical layout of Falkirk.

The Westerton Arms is a family run pub and restaurant in the heart of Bridge of Allan which lies in the shadow of The Wallace Monument, Stirling Castle and Stirling Bridge. Offering everything you would expect from a traditional Scottish pub, friendly faces and service along with wood burning stoves for the cold days and outside areas for the sunny ones. The restaurant is renowned locally for good food, using local suppliers and produce where possible and only scotch beef, lamb and pork with fresh fish and vegetables delivered daily. Loch Lubnaig is a stunning located stretch of freshwater nestling between two striking mountains, Ben Ledi and Benvane to the south-west and Ben Vorlich to the north-east. A bird’s eye view of the loch, reveals how it came by its name, for Lùbnaig means crooked in Gaelic. Stop for some photos of this beautiful Scottish Loch and take a walk along its banks, there is plenty of nature around you so make sure you bring your camera.

Next we make our way to The Royal Burgh of Culross, a town that time has passed by, which lies on the banks of the River Forth. The town centre dates back to the 16th Century. It is the most complete example in Scotland today of a Burgh of the 17th & 18th centuries.
