The experience begins with a ride through a historic district, before we reach a tranquil shrine setting, which we explore on foot. From there, we cycle through charming neighborhoods and peaceful wooded areas, gradually making our way to a serene Zen location—a hidden gem far from the usual tourist spots.
Along the way, we stop for a delicious traditional snack at a family-run shop with a history that stretches back over a thousand years. Later, we ride through a quiet temple complex to visit one of my favourite rock gardens in the area.
