Escape the crowds and experience one of Somerset West’s most rewarding mountain hikes with a qualified local guide. The Helderberg West Peak route offers a real sense of wilderness, beautiful fynbos, rocky mountain scenery, and wide-open views over False Bay, the Winelands, Table Mountain, and the surrounding peaks.
Unlike the busier Table Mountain routes, Helderberg feels quieter and more local, making it ideal for travelers who want an authentic Cape mountain experience away from the main tourist trail.
