Starting at Bismarckpl. 1, 69115 Heidelberg, Germany, open the Explorial app and enter the 6-digit game code that you received by text and Viator chat message. The riddles lead you through one of Germany's most celebrated old towns at your own pace.
Your first landmark is Haus zum Riesen, a 16th-century Renaissance mansion on the Hauptstrasse whose carved doorway and layered facade make it one of the finest buildings on the most famous street in Heidelberg.
From there the app takes you to Universitätsplatz, the heart of one of Germany's oldest universities, where student life and city life have overlapped for more than 600 years in a square surrounded by historic faculty buildings.
