Fern Forest
Hand-carved Hawaiian Tikis, Lava Rock Sculptures, Pallet Structures, and our amazing Hapu'u Fern Collection. Upon arrival, you will be greeted by our 7 life-sized tiki statues that represent the game of chess. These tiki statues sit along a fence that was created using 100% recycled pallets. Our tour features a naturally formed uneven lava flow path where you will see over 300 Hapu'u Ferns in their natural environment. You will experience our amazing lava rock sculptures along with a "Rasta" stone sculpture that is in situ. You will arrive at "The Okina" prototype house. The Okina is a unique art installation structure built from 100% recycled pallets! The hallways and sleeping area are about 100 sqft and feature several pieces of original mixed-media artwork. The Okina features a water catchment and solar electricity. During the entire tour, you will be surrounded by a variety of beautiful tropical plants, trees, and wildlife.
