The state of Hawaii requires a recreational ocean fishing license for out-of-state residents. The license costs $20 for 24 hours and can be obtained on the DLNR website: https://fishing.hawaii.gov/

For a full refund, cancel at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure time.

Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time.

If you cancel less than 24 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded.

Itinerary
Your spearfishing lesson begins with a 45-minute, on-shore master class where you’ll learn fundamental skills, gear safety, and how to identify native and invasive reef fish. After suiting up and reviewing responsible diving practices, you’ll hit the water for a two-hour guided spearfishing session, practicing everything you’ve learned amid colorful Hawaiian reefs. During the final 15 minutes, celebrate with team photos and a Q&A session; if you land a fish, your guide will bag it so you can enjoy your own “catch of the day” at home.
