Enjoy a day trip to a local shoe-making workshop where you'll learn the craft and create your very own pair of shoes made with local fabrics and textiles.
8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Arrival and welcome with Guatemalan coffee and snacks. Introduction to the day and a brief overview of shoe-making.
8:30 AM – 9:30 AM: Workshop tour, observing artisans at work and learning about the vibrant local textiles used.
9:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Hands-on shoe-making, selecting materials and beginning your custom design under the guidance of skilled artisans.
12:00 PM – 1:00 PM: Lunch break with a traditional Guatemalan meal.
