Village de pêcheurs de Tra Nhieu
We’ll leave the Old Town and head to Tra Nhieu village, where life moves slowly and the air feels fresh. You’ll travel along quiet village roads and shady paths, surrounded by rice fields and green countryside – perfect for unforgettable photos of rural Vietnam.
Along the way we’ll stop at local homes to see how people still make traditional rice paper and colorful woven sleeping mats. You’ll be invited to join in, try simple steps of the process, and chat with the families.
Next, you’ll experience daily life on the water: ride in a round bamboo basket boat and try several traditional fishing techniques that local fishermen have used for generations. We finish with a home-cooked lunch with a local family, then a relaxing 30-minute boat cruise back to Hoi An along the Thu Bon River, watching peaceful village and river life as we return.

Rivière Thu Bon
Thu Bon River is one of the most iconic waterways in central Vietnam. As we cruise along the calm river, you’ll pass peaceful fishing villages, palm-fringed banks, rice fields, and local boats slowly drifting by. You’ll see fishermen working with traditional nets, families traveling by river, and quiet countryside scenes that show a more authentic side of Vietnam.
