At Fairview Lawn Cemetery, travelers will visit the final resting place of 121 victims of the RMS Titanic sinking and hear guided commentary about Halifax’s extraordinary recovery efforts following the tragedy. Guests will learn the personal stories behind the headstones, including how many victims were identified and brought to Halifax after the disaster.
Travelers will also learn about the devastating Halifax Explosion, one of the largest non-nuclear explosions in history. The experience includes a visit to the mass grave site of explosion victims, where guests will hear about the impact the disaster had on Halifax and the resilience of the local community.
