Kim Bong Carpentry Village
Our tour will help you to get to know more about the local people in the small villages surrounding Hoian. We feel so lucky that people still maintain some of the traditional handicrafts such as wood carving, mat weaving, and rice noodle making and we share with you the special techniques that they use to make everything.
Run away from busy and noisy city, you ride your bike leisurely to the village roads, enjoy relaxing moments in the middle of the green rice paddies, take photos with the beautiful scenery. You also meet and talk to some farmers and fishermen who are hardworking and alway happy and stay healthy .
Beside introducing about the history and culture, our guide also shows you some of the materials that people use to build houses or boats that you never meet anywhere on the earth.
You also join hands in making rice paper, mate weaving and you have a chance to meet some famous carpenters in the village who will show you how to carve your name on a small piece of wood.
