Zabeel Palace
Set within the historic, leafy and salubrious neighbourhood of Zabeel (also known as Za’abeel), moments from Dubai’s city centre but filled with parkland and home to equestrian centres, Zabeel Palace is the administrative headquarters of the Dubai Royal Family. As the official royal residence, it’s one of the many homes of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the ruler of Dubai and Prime Minister of the UAE, and many of his family members. While built in what was then an isolated desert, Zabeel Palace is now a beautiful and conveniently accessed royal residence, surrounded by beautiful gardens filled with birds, flowers and home to roaming peacocks.

Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood
The construction of Al Fahidi Historical Neighbourhood dates back to the 1890s. In its prime, the locality was capable of 60 housing units, most of which were separated by narrow, winding lanes. The town of Al Bastakiya was primarily built by the affluent Persian Merchants drawn to Dubai by the rich trade opportunities and incentives offered by the Emirati government, the district was named after the southern Iranian town of Bastak.
