Soon after pickup, we’ll drive along the M5, connecting to the M4 via Muizenberg, St. James, and Fish Hoek beaches, following the scenic False Bay coastline to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
2
Muizenberg
As we pass Muizenberg Beach, you'll spot the vibrant, colorful beach huts in the distance. These iconic huts resemble the "bathing machines" of the 1800s—cart-like structures once used to allow women to change into their full-length bathing attire before wading into the water. Today, these charming huts serve as convenient changing rooms for sunbathers and surfers enjoying the waves.
3
St. James Beach
Similar to those at Muizenberg, the colorful beach huts at St. James Beach also serve as changing rooms for sunbathers. Your tour guide will make a brief stop here, giving you the perfect opportunity to snap some fun and vibrant photos before we continue to Boulders Beach Penguin Colony.
15 minutes
4
Kalk Bay
Driving past Kalk Bay Harbour, you'll witness the charm of this bustling fishing village. Colorful boats dock as fish traders proudly display their fresh daily catch. The vibrant atmosphere, salty sea air, and stunning coastal views make for an unforgettable experience.
5
Fish Hoek
As we pass Fish Hoek Beach, you’ll notice its inviting, warm Indian Ocean waters that flow into False Bay. This makes it a popular spot for swimming and sunbathing, with its long stretches of soft, white sand perfect for relaxation.
6
Boulders Beach Penguin Colony
We stop at Boulders Beach to visit the renowned African Penguin colony. Known as one of Cape Town’s top beaches for swimming and sunbathing, Boulders Beach offers the chance for close encounters with these charming birds, though sightings while swimming aren’t guaranteed. To ensure a memorable experience, we’ll take a scenic walk along the boardwalk to the official penguin colony, where you can observe around 3,000 African Penguins in their natural habitat—wading in the False Bay waters, basking in the sun, and waddling across the iconic granite boulders.

7
Cape of Good Hope
After our unforgettable encounter with the charming African Penguins, we head to the highlight of the day—the Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point Nature Reserve. No visit to Cape Town is complete without capturing a photo behind the iconic Cape of Good Hope name board.
As we explore the breathtaking nature reserve, your guide will share fascinating stories about the historic Bartholomew Dias and Vasco da Gama beacons. The Cape of Good Hope is home to diverse flora and fauna, including the unique fynbos vegetation, over 250 bird species (such as ostriches), as well as buck, baboons, and the rare Cape mountain zebra.
For your safety, we kindly remind guests to remain vigilant and avoid getting too close to the wild animals, as they can be unpredictable. Feeding or making close contact with them is strictly prohibited.

8
Old Cape Point Lighthouse
From the Cape of Good Hope we will drive to Cape Point where you may either take the Flying Dutchman Funicular or walk for 15 minutes to the Cape Point lighthouse. This is a wonderful opportunity to see where the Two Ocean currents meet.
1 minute
9
Chapman's Peak Drive
If operational, we’ll drive along Chapman's Peak Drive, one of the world's most scenic routes. We'll make a brief stop at the viewpoint to capture stunning photos of the breathtaking coastline.
