Een smal vijfverdiepingen tellend uurmakershuis met een geheim. De familie ten Boom had al sinds 1837 een uurmakerij op dit adres. Toen nazi-Duitsland Nederland in 1940 bezette, begonnen Casper ten Boom en zijn dochters Corrie en Betsie Joodse mensen en verzetsstrijders te verbergen in een verborgen ruimte — nauwelijks 70 centimeter diep, gebouwd achter een valse muur op de bovenste verdieping.
